R2 510 Cleaning Tool

  • Designed to be used with a drill to accelerate the cleaning process.
  • Knurled grip
  • Rubber O-Ring on bottom that screws against top cap
  • Ratchet bottom for unscrewing tool from top cap

DIRECTIONS: Twist your top cap counterclockwise until the threads fall into place, then screw clockwise until securely tightened. It is important to make sure the cleaning tool is screwed flush to the top cap. If polishing, hold your Comp Cloth (or other cleaning rag) on the tube and turn your drill on. If you have severe scratches, try using a Scotch Brite pad in place of the Comp Cloth.

**Keep threads lubricated to prevent the tool from becoming stuck on your top cap. Do not cross thread while screwing tool to the top cap.
As always with plated tube- refer to our Plating Policy for cleaning instructions.

Button Cleaning Tool

Compatible ONLY with Avid Lyfe Buttons
Made to chuck in a hand drill to speed up the button cleaning and polishing process

DIRECTIONS: Do not over tighten the button to the tool. If the button doesn't seem to fit the tool, don't force it. Use plenty of 3 in 1 oil on all threads before using.

RDA Cleaning Tool Currently Sold Out

The Comp Lyfe Cleaning Tool is a 510 RDA tool made to be used with a drill to accelerate the cleaning process.

  • Knurled grip
  • Nylon washer on bottom that screws against top cap

DIRECTIONS: Use plenty of 3 in 1 oil on the threads of the tool prior to using (this will make the tool go on/off smoothly). As threading may vary from RDA to RDA- if the tool doesn't thread smoothly, do not force the tool in. Forcing may damage the 510 threading on the RDA.
